Single Cell RNA Sequencing

10x Genomics Single-Cell RNA Sequencing

Introduction

Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) provides unprecedented insights into gene expression at the individual cell level, enabling researchers to study cellular heterogeneity, discover rare cell populations, and track dynamic processes such as differentiation and disease progression. Using whole blood creates "noise" because red blood cells and neutrophils make up the vast majority of the volume. By isolating PBMCs, you zoom in on the immune signaling hub of the body, making it much easier to find the "needle in the haystack" biomarkers for cancer, autoimmune disorders, or infectious diseases.
